A MHS Liverpool Driving Bit Jointed
The MHS Single Broken Liverpool Bar is made of stainless steel. Because it has a broken mouthpiece, it puts pressure on the tongue and the layers of the horse. It also puts pressure on the headpiece due to the leverage of the scissors. This bit acts sharper than the unbroken liverpool bar. For advice or sizes see our size chart.

Maintenance of bits
It is wise to clean the bit after each use, this can simply be done under the tap or in a bucket of water. A bit of good and extensive cleaning is best done with a little lukewarm / warm water and a soft cloth. After washing, dry the bit with a dry cloth. Boiling your bit once a month in a pan of water ensures an optimal clean result and is the most effective way to get the bit really clean.
- Never use soap and / or detergents in connection with allergic reactions when washing
- If the bit is very dirty, soak it in hot water for a while
