BR Double Broken Loose Ring Snaffle Sweet Iron 13 mm rollers

This double jointed loose ring is made of solid stainless steel combined with a sweet iron layer on the mouthpiece (blue). The mouthpiece is equipped with brass rings, which stimulate the horse to play with the bit. As a result, the horse is more likely to "let go" in the mouth. The sweet iron coating on the mouthpiece stimulates the production of saliva. When this material reacts with moisture, heat and air, it will oxidize and develop a sweet tasting surface rust. This helps with acceptance of the bit The bit has a normal effect on the mouth The mouthpiece has a thickness of 13 mm and the bit guards have a diameter of 65 mm A loose ring is a bit with loose bit guards This type of bit is generally well accepted because the mouthpiece is relatively loose in the mouth With a double jointed loose ring snaffle, the mouthpiece consists of three parts. The middle part of the mouthpiece lies flat on the tongue, creating more pressure on the tongue than with a single broken mouthpiece. The thicker the center piece, the more pressure on the tongue.

    Maintenance of bits

It is wise to clean the bit after each use, this can simply be done under the tap or in a bucket of water. A bit of good and extensive cleaning is best done with a little lukewarm / warm water and a soft cloth. After washing, dry the bit with a dry cloth. Boiling your bit once a month in a pan of water ensures an optimal clean result and is the most effective way to get the bit really clean.

    Tips

    • Never use soap and / or detergents in connection with allergic reactions when washing
    • If the bit is very dirty, soak it in hot water for a while
