There are a few things to think about when buying a stable rug. It must be made of a flexible material so that your horse can have freedom of movement. The quality and strength of the material are also very important. If your horse lies down in the stable, the rug soon comes into contact with manure, mud or urine. A stable rug should, therefore, be washed more frequently than a standard blanket.
