The Rambo Stable Plus with Vari-Layer Heavy 450G is a thick 450 gram versatile stable blanket including detachable neck and Vari-Layer technology.
This Horseware blanket gives the horse more warmth with less weight.
The blanket is equipped with V-front closure, cross surcingles, tail cord, tail flap, stainless steel closures, detachable neck, Surefi Neck Design, Vari-Layer and Liner system. Surefit Neck Design ensures that the blanket fits nicely on the neck, for good protection and freedom of movement. The neck is easy to attach with Velcro loops to the neck fastening of the blanket. The stable rug is made from strong, durable 1000 denier ripstop polyester outer fabric. The inner lining is made of microfiber cotton. Lined with 450 gram thermo-bound fiber filling.
This Rambo stable rug is equipped with Vari-Layer Technology.
Vari-Layer technology provides more warmth without the horse wearing a very thick blanket. The Vari-Layer system are several layers of filling that circulate the heat and keep it well in the blanket. The stable rug has 3 layers. The top layer has a 450 gram filling, because most of the heat is lost there. The second layer is filled with 300 grams and the bottom layer has a filling of 150 grams.
A standard blanket has a heat loss of 80% through 40% blanket surface. The developed Vari-Layer technology of Horseware limits the heat loss by increasing the concentration of fibers in the padding and connecting the layered padding well to the horse. The medium blanket keeps the quality of the filling longer, so that the effect is maintained.
This blanket is also equipped with the Horseware Liner System for combining with the Horseware Liner under blanket. This allows you to determine the thickness and temperature yourself and only one stable rug needs to be purchased.
This complete Rambo stable blanket has a comfortable fit for the horse. Available in the color navy in different sizes suitable for pony and horse.

Maintenance of your horse rugs
In principle, you can simply wash your rugs in the washing machine at 30 ° Celsius, but with each wash you can check the waterproofness of your blanket. Washing once out of need is not a problem, but regular washing is not recommended. Would you like to wash the blanket more often? Or just clean your blanket extra well? Then bring it to a special horse blanket laundry. These are specialized in washing and cleaning horse rugs. They use special detergents and impregnation agents to keep your blanket nice and waterproof. Do you prefer to do it yourself but do not you dare to touch the washing machine? Then use some lukewarm / warm water without soap and gently brush off the dirt with a soft brush after soaking in water. The best thing is if you can hang the blanket to dry in the sun. This way you prevent the lining from accumulating in a lump.
This is of course not the case with fleece rugs, stall rugs, fly rugs, eczema rugs and rugs. These rugs are in fact not waterproof. You can wash these rugs in the washing machine at 30 ° Celsius.
- In connection with allergic reactions to washing, do not use any or only special detergents. Never use standard soap and / or detergents.
- Hang the rugs well to allow them to dry properly. This way you prevent the lining from accumulating in a lump.
