Supergrip reins with stops are ideal for everyday use and offer the perfect grip in competitions or training.

Reins form the connection between the bit in your horse's mouth and your hand. A snaffle bit is generally ridden with one pair of reins. If you ride with a combination bit, two reins are used. Reins are available in different materials. Depending on your personal preference, you can choose from supple leather reins, reins with stops, reins with non-slip and reins with loops. In addition, reins can be provided with cross pieces, also called rein slides. These rein slides prevent the rings of, for example, a martingale from sliding too far forward on the rein and getting stuck.

Both the material and the stops contribute to a better grip on the reins while riding.

In addition to normal reins, you will find various training rein at MHS Equestrian, such as draw reins, side reins, a martingale or Thiedeman reins. Reins that help correct your horse's posture.
